Living/working In Washington D.c. Area?

I’m considering moving to the D.C. area, or the Virginia or Maryland suburbs as well. I’m looking for a job that pays decently, and was impressed with all the job listings for that area in the Washington Post. (Jobs suck where I live outside Pittsburgh.) Anybody who lives there, works there, been there, offer any advice to me? Currently I live about 4 hours away, but the closest to D.C. that I’ve been is Annapolis. Any impressions of that area appreciated.

I live near Annapolis, MD, with the nearest metropolitan area being Baltimore/Washington DC. I am looking for a French/Parisian bakery that sells french macarons (the meringue sandwich cookies with “feet” and a ganache center – not the almond or coconut macaroon cookies). Are there any Parisian bakeries in Maryland or DC that sell french macarons?

Im a vegan and am dying to get a tattoo. I have done some research and found most ink may contain glycerin/animal derived and or black ink made of charred bones. does anyone in maryland use “vegan” ink?

I would suggest going to your local MAC counter (or any makeup counter) and have one of them do your makeup. If you like it, hire them to come out and do your makeup for your wedding. Also, you could ask the shop where you bought your wedding dress from, if they know of any good makeup artists in town. Good luck and congratulations!

The B&A Trail Park stretches from Jonas Green Park in Annapolis to Dorsey Road in Glen Burnie, Maryland. The Earleigh Heights Ranger Station is located in Severna Park with parking available on the premises. A gazebo, horticultural gardens and park benches are found at the Hatton-Regester Green property in Severna Park. 80 flowerbeds, all tended by volunteers, grace the park grounds.
