College Bf/gf Split!! Help!?
Arraynot found.im going into the USNA in Annapolis,Maryland for college and my girlfriend is going to Florida State. how is this relationship going to work?! we split up end of this term and we've been together for 4 years!? HELP PLEASE!!
I’m friends with some couples who started out in high school and are still together throughout college, even though they go to separate places. We are now all in our third year of college, and they are still happy together.
They did this by ALWAYS communicating with and keeping in touch with each other, keeping the flame alive in spite of the distance. They also find ways to visit each other now and then, and to also talk on the phone, on AIM, and to send each other little gifts and anniversary gifts, etc.
Also, I don’t want to discourage you, but keep in mind that this is rare and requires a lot of work. I saw most couples end up breaking up. Just preparing you in case something happens.
If you want it to work, and if she wants it to work… then you both have you work at it. And if you both work at it, then it will.
Bottom line: It IS possible to make it work. It’s just going to be tough. Good luck!
