What Are Some Fun Indoor Activities In Annapolis, Md. For A 1-year Old?
Arraynot found.i have a one-year old daughter and i'm looking for some fun indoor places in or around annapolis, maryland, to bring her when the weather isn't nice outside.
Our public library has reading time for babies under two once a week. Its a lot of fun for the kids, and moms get to socialize as well!
i used to work for a day care center, and i am about to have a baby in febuary. this doesnt make me an expert but, i have a few ideas for you. i am a chef, and my butcher told me about what his wife does with her kids. Take some butcher paper and line the walls of your garage, or bathroom ( a room that it would be ok if you got the floor a little dirty, and one that you normally dont play in) give your girl some LARGE crayons or those LARGE sidewalk chalks and let her experiment on the walls. Also, i think crayola makes those soap crayons… get into your swim suits and draw on the shower walls. easy clean up. talk to child care places in your area… they have to deal with this all the time. it will be an eye opening experience for you. there are books in the library that you can get to expand your imagination. if you have a play group, each of you can “host” some of these things together. i dont know what you have available, play groups or other friends with kids, but, those other ladies had good ideas too. HAVE FUN, its just a little mess, no big deal, and LOTSA opportunities for great photos and grandma gifts. .. luck for you, enjoy.
if you are willing to drive there are several gymboree gym romper or kiddie indoor gym programs in the Annapolis-DC area. you can do the parent child swimming as well. the chesapeak childrens museum exist, just as port discovery in baltimore. if the kid is walking he can do anything you do.
