Road Trip Destinations Near Annapolis, Md?
Arraynot found.Instead of going to Beach Week after highschool graduation, I was planning on possibly organizing a road trip (because I don't like the beach, and still want something fun to do with a few friends who don't want to go to beach week either). My school is in Annapolis, Maryland, and I can't think of t
oo many locations that'd be fun to go to around here. I've already been to colonial williamsburg for a week, maybe somewhere like philadelphia or pittsburg? new york city? any off-the-mill answers are welcome. I'm just brainstorming right now.
Depends on what you’re into – I’ve been to Bucks County, PA, home of the DuPonts and the family powdermill – can tour their estate and look at some realy expensive real estate – good restaurants…another idea is Duck, No. Carolina – great beaches, near Kitty Hawk, home of the Wright Bros…they have a good museum. The Shenandoah in Virginia is always beautiful – can’t remember the number of the main highway that runs down the west border of Virginia, but there are tons of towns and museums out there.

Not sure if you’re into drinking, but the Dogfish Head brewery is in Milton, Delaware and they do public tours (with samples, of course).
