The closes international airport to Annapolis is BWI (Baltimore Washington International). That airport is about 30 to 45 minutes from Annapolis, depending upon time of day. So then from LAX to BWI you are looking at a flight of about 5 hours direct and about 6 or 7 if you do not have a direct flight. Then add about an hour for getting your luggage and getting a taxi or other vehicle to Annapolis.
The other option is Washington National airport and the travel times would be just slightly longer because you would have to travel through DC to get to RT-50 to go to Annapolis. That may add an hour or more to your trip.
My suggestion is BWI, its outside of Baltimore and near major highways.
